Downtown New West’s favourite summer street party returns with big nights, bold energy, and all the reasons to stay out a little later.
On July 10, 17, 24 August 7, 14, 21 Front Street transforms into celebration filled with live music, local food, drinks by Steel+Oak, community vendors, and themed experiences that bring thousands of people into the heart of downtown. Whether you come for dinner, dancing, people-watching, or just to soak up the atmosphere, Fridays on Front is your invitation to kick off the weekend in New Westminster.
This year, expect more of what people love, plus fresh programming, new themes, and the kind of energy that makes summer in Downtown New West feel like nowhere else.

We’ve packed the day with something for everyone. The Family Zone, hosted by New Westminster Family Place, gives kids room to run, play, and burn off some energy, while you take a breather and enjoy everything else happening around you.
